This policy explains how Inner Knowing collects, uses, and protects personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It applies to this website and to the practice's contact and booking processes. Clients outside Australia should be aware that Australian privacy law governs this practice.
The contact form on this site collects your name, email address, and any message you choose to include. Booking a discovery call or session via Calendly collects the information you provide directly to Calendly as part of that process (typically your name, email, and time zone).
Information submitted through the contact form or booking process is used solely to respond to your enquiry, schedule sessions, and communicate with you about the practice. It is not used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties beyond what's described below.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles the information passed through it. Where possible, please avoid including sensitive personal or clinical details in the contact form or booking notes — significant matters are best discussed directly in a session or by phone.
Separately from this website's data practices, anything shared during sessions is held in strict professional confidence, consistent with the ethical standards of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). There are legally mandated exceptions to this confidentiality: if there are reasonable grounds to believe a client presents an imminent risk of harm to themselves or another person, if disclosure is required by a court order or other legal obligation, or if there is reasonable belief that a child or vulnerable person is being abused or neglected, under mandatory reporting obligations. Full detail on these boundaries is provided in the client consent form prior to beginning work together.
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide services and meet professional and legal obligations, and is stored securely. Email is not a guaranteed secure channel — please use discretion about the personal information you include in email correspondence.
You have the right to access the personal information held about you. Requests can be made in writing to hello@innerknowing.me.
